Delete Your Account and Data

You can delete your Pippa account and the personal data tied to it at any time. You do not need to keep the app installed to request deletion. Choose either option below.

What happens when you delete

• Your care team is notified immediately and loses access.
• The account can no longer sign in.
• Erasure of your personal data is completed within 30 days.

What data is deleted

All of your personal data is permanently erased from our systems, including:

• Meal photos and food logs
• Mood entries and journal entries
• Chat history with the in-app companion
• Your profile, goals, and account details

Backup copies age out on our standard rotation schedule.

What data is kept, and for how long

As a health-related service we are required to keep a minimal legal record. This is kept against an internal identifier rather than your name or email:

• A record of consent grants and revocations
• The deletion request itself
• Clinician-access audit logs

These records are retained for approximately six years as required by law, then deleted. Children's data is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected for, never indefinitely.

Delete some data without closing your account

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove specific data. Email asraygopa@gmail.com from the address on your account and tell us what you'd like removed, for example your meal photos, food logs, mood entries, journal entries, or chat history. We will verify the request and delete those items, keeping your account and the rest of your data intact. The same minimal legal record described above still applies.
